Cem Unat

Cem Unat has been part of PANTARHEI since February 2025 and contributes to strengthening the two offices in Vienna and Brussels in the areas of European Affairs and Public Affairs. After completing his degree in law at the Karl-Franzens University of Graz, his career path led him to the European Parliament in Brussels via the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber. There he most recently worked as a political advisor in the cabinet of the First Vice-President of the European Parliament. He was responsible for climate, energy and industrial policy and focused, among other things, on the challenges of ecological and digital economic change, energy sovereignty and the European Union's research and innovation policy. He was directly involved in shaping EU legislation, gained experience in political negotiations and developed an understanding of the dynamics of the European institutional structure.
With his experience from Brussels, Cem brings to PANTARHEI valuable know-how for companies seeking guidance, access and impact in the EU policy environment.
